How today works

Five quick differentials, no performance theatre.

Read each stem, choose the best DSM-5-TR answer from four plausible options, then move through the batch. You get the explanation immediately, and your final score appears after the last case. Five differential cases a day, a different set each day for 14 days; then the sets repeat.

One case closer to being harder to fool.

Question 1 of 5

Case

A 16-year-old has chronic irritability, frequent severe temper outbursts three or more times weekly, and persistently angry mood between outbursts for over a year across home and school. Symptoms began at age 8, with no symptom-free interval of three months, and are severe at home. The angry baseline persists day to day between outbursts, with energy and sleep needs remaining at their usual level. Substance and medical assessment identifies no explanatory cause.

What is the best DSM-5-TR answer?
